Although I have really missed the interaction of students in the classroom environment, I am enjoying the challenge of exploring the best ways to deliver content and information within these webinar and video class opportunities. Over the last two pandemic years I have produced a large range of video classes in Watercolor and some in Pastel.

Live Personal Painting Sessions . There are 3 options for these personal help sessions, a 30 minute Fix-It class, 1 hour Lesson, or 2 Hour lesson. These class sessions are scheduled by appointment and you can fine these listings under Live 1-to-1 on my online Yondo site.

Live 1-to-1 Review

The Fix-It Sessions are so helpful! I’ve used them for watercolor and pastel paintings. I thought there was no hope for a couple of my pictures but using the suggestions in the private Fix-It sessions online with Tricia, my paintings turned out quite well. Tricia helped me with composition, color selection and shadows in one session and in another she gave me ideas and instructions to make the subjects appear more realistic. When I am stuck or dissatisfied with my work it is a great opportunity to have a professional artist and teacher take a look at my problem and help me Fix IT!

 

Live Watercolor Webinar classes, feature classes in different levels to help you increase and develop your painting skills. Each webinar will offer a different subject and these could include flowers, seascapes, landscapes, still life, figures, animals and birds, architecture etc.  I use two cameras so that you can see the demonstration table clearly and close up. Webinar Review

If you have the opportunity to take one of Trish Reichert’s webinar classes, seize it! She is the perfect balance of an artist and a teacher – not an artist trying to be a teacher. Her lessons are organized and easy to follow. She is passionate about her craft and about making sure her students understand the why’s and how’s of a painting and provides helpful hints and answers to questions posed during the actual webinars. I highly recommend spending some time painting with her – you’ll be amazed at the paintings you’ll create!

Small Group Class Review

It was so much fun to paint together, in spite of the program glitches at times.  We hadn’t been together for months!  The lessons were great, and even though it was hard to keep up the pace at times, the push was good for us.  I really appreciated having your sketches.  Aside from making the prep easier, it was helpful in following what you were doing with value and color changes in specific areas.  Most of all, I loved your running dialogue telling what you were doing and why, in a calm encouraging way.  Betty Johnson
 

Video Lessons  – There are now over 90 video lessons in watercolor available to rent or purchase in the Video section of my Yondo online site. These classes have the great advantage that you can work at your own pace at home and stop and start the lesson as often as needed.

Video Review

Thank you Tricia for making these fun but challenging videos available to keep us motivated to keep on painting. You offer such a wide range of videos – something for everyone. They give us the benefit of feeling like we’re in your studio, while being in the comfort of our own homes. That we can rent the videos for 3 days is also a plus because it gives me the opportunity to really focus on the details of each session at my own pace. I learn something new with every video and really appreciate your input.

Courses Review

Last month I took Tricia Reichert’s “Drawing Portraits in Pencil” Course. It was very helpful and interesting! Tricia Reichert is an excellent instructor who patiently guides her students, step by step. She adeptly adjusts her camera work and pace to suit the subject matter of the course. Her portrait demonstration made the process easy to follow at my own pace and to create a wonderful portrait of my husband. Being able to rent the course for a month allowed me to complete it at my own pace. I highly recommend her courses! Chris Dempsey

 General Classes Review

I have been a student of Tricia Reichert’s for six years. She has switched seamlessly to an online learning format from her in person classes. I highly recommend Tricia’s series of painting classes and sketchbook composition classes. Tricia is interesting, clear and patient. In each lesson, she carefully demonstrates each step and allows students to complete a finished piece of art. She remains attentive to student questions during the class. As a teacher myself, I appreciate Tricia’s attention to her lesson plans, and the time she takes to choose just the right subject matter and source photographs for her students’ interests and abilities.
